In June 2025, GSL ENERGY successfully delivered and commissioned a 2MW / 4.6MWh liquid cooling commercial and industrial energy storage system for a plastic manufacturing facility in Lebanon—a region frequently affected by grid instability and electricity shortages.
Customer Background & Challenges
The client operates a large plastic production plant, supported by a 1 MWp Fronius solar array and a 2 MWh Solax on-grid inverter system. However, due to unreliable grid power and regular outages, the customer needed a dependable, off-grid commercial energy storage system to ensure uninterrupted operation.

Two sets of 1MW / 2MWh commercial battery storage units
Full off-grid operational capacity
Integration with an external diesel generator for backup support
A customized Energy Management System (EMS)
Custom logo branding on all equipment
Installation via crane hoisting onto a dedicated platform due to space constraints
