Technology Goes Overseas and Amazes the Caribbean: GSL ENERGY's Low Voltage Paralleling Technology Reaches New Heights

Time : 2025-08-02

Recently, GSL ENERGY was invited by the Caribbean partner to organize an energy storage technology empowerment event. Stone, the head of the company's technical department, went to the project site in person to bring cutting-edge technology, sharing and practical support, and comprehensively demonstrated GSL ENERGY's technical accumulation and achievements in the field of low-voltage parallel connection.

The Caribbean project is located in the U.S. territory, and through GSL ENERGY's self-developed low-voltage HUB solution, 48 sets of 10kWh stand-off lithium batteries were successfully connected in parallel, with a total capacity of up to 480kWh, and the system is mainly used for local standby power and stable load energy supply.

Breaking the Parallel Connection Barrier, GSL Low Voltage HUB Technology is Mature and Commercially Available

Low-Voltage HUB Parallel Connection Technology is a system architecture that integrates multiple energy storage modules in a low-voltage form. In the process of realising a stable parallel connection of multiple batteries, many difficulties such as current sharing, communication management, temperature control strategy, and electrical safety must be resolved comprehensively, which requires a very high level of system design.

GSL ENERGY was the first to complete the parallel deployment of 32 batteries in a Swiss project two years ago, and the system has been running stably since then, becoming a technological milestone for the company's overseas energy storage projects. The successful deployment of this project in the Caribbean also marks a further breakthrough in GSL's high-density, low-voltage parallel connection technology.

Interleaved Paralleling Architecture: Reducing Ripple Current and Enhancing Efficiency

In the traditional paralleling architecture, the system is prone to harmonic interference that causes distortion of the grid waveform or affects the operation of the equipment. To address this issue, GSL adopts the interleaved parallel connection technology to distribute the HUB modules in a reasonable phase, effectively reducing the output current ripple, optimizing the system parameter configuration, and improving the overall power density and power conversion efficiency.

Intelligent Current Equalisation Control: Maintaining Consistency of Module Operation

There are minor differences in the performance parameters of each battery module, such as internal resistance and capacity, which, if not handled correctly, will lead to uneven current distribution, overcharging, or over-discharging of some batteries, ultimately affecting the life and safety of the whole system. In this regard, GSL has introduced advanced intelligent current equalisation control algorithms to ensure that all parallel cells dynamically adjust their power distribution during actual operation, achieving precise control of voltage, current, and power, and significantly improving system reliability.

In addition, the system design also takes into account electromagnetic compatibility and anti-interference capability, which can effectively deal with sudden load changes and external interference, significantly reducing communication failures and security risks.

More than 5.8GWh deployed globally, witnessed by international customers' reputation.

As one of the world's leading energy storage manufacturers, GSL ENERGY has deployed more than 5.8GWh of energy storage systems globally, which are widely used in residential, commercial, and utility scenarios. The company has always insisted on the use of REPT Tier 1 Grade A Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries and provides product warranties of up to 10 years, which has gained high recognition and continued cooperation from many international customers.

The landing of this Caribbean project not only verifies GSL's mature technology in low-voltage parallel connection scenarios but also further strengthens GSL ENERGY's technological influence and brand appeal in the overseas energy storage market. In the future, GSL will continue to work with global partners to create a new pattern of green energy.
